Elder Michael Williams was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and accepted Christ as his Savior at Kossuth Temple C.O.G.I.C., where he received the Holy Ghost in 1982. He was called into ministry in 1988, ordained as an Elder in 1996, and answered the pastoral call in 2016. He currently serves as Founder and Pastor of Rest Outreach Ministry C.O.G.I.C. in Hillsdale, Missouri.

Throughout his ministry, Elder Williams has faithfully served in the Eastern MO First Jurisdiction and now serves in the Missouri Gateway Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction under Bishop Melvin J. Smith. His leadership roles include Administrative Assistant, Chief of Staff, and Vice Chairman of the General Assembly. He also contributes nationally through the Men Perfecting Men Conference, the Rules Committee, and previously as a National Adjutant and Assistant Director for the International Children’s Church.



A proud U.S. Army veteran with over 23 years of service, Elder Williams retired in 2008. He has also served his local community as a Trustee and now Mayor of Uplands Park, Missouri. Professionally, he has been with Spectrum Communications for over 32 years and currently works as a Regional Construction Coordinator. He also serves as an elected Director for the Gateway Chapter of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE).

Elder Williams has been married for 32 years to Missionary Johnetta Williams. Together, they have three children and thirteen grandchildren.
